Why is it so easy to get muscle but hard to lose weight

I work out hard but i like to eat

The whole eat less mentality is just garbage. If that actually worked it would have been working for the past century from when it was proposed.
Weight and metabolism is super complicated. It involves the gut microbiome, genetics, what you eat, how you eat, exercise and the types of exercise, stress and hormones, disease, medications, etc...
People that say just eat less and exercise have obviously never had to lose weight in their life.
