I AM FAT 61 YEAR OLD WOMAN!

i weigh 173 lbs....my measurements are 45-39-39 1/2. I can still remember when i was 32-22-34 as an adult. Why? AAAAaaaaaarrrrrrgh! I don't want to do Nutrisystem again cause i whited out the last time. I am on blood pressure medicine and i have to be careful. Any suggestions?

I think you need some group that will support you in your efforts to change. Nutrisystem is obviously not right for you, but I have to believe there are other options.
@Freetime i live in the sticks so i was hoping for something on the internet but nobody does it...a virtual fat farm would be great. I was hoping for a group here.

@DIABLISS Oh, that does present a problem. Have you tried keeping a diary of everything you eat? Could you do that and maybe show it to a friend who would hold you accountable?
@Freetime i don't have any friends that are those kinds of friends. i don't think i ever did. my husband says he doesn't like to nag me. my dogs try to steal every bit of food i eat, does that count? but i do write everything down as to what i eat. that way I know what i did.

@DIABLISS I'm the same way with not having those kinds of friends, so I do understand. Writing everything down is still good. Based on the activities you used to do, I'm guessing you were a very self-disciplined person. I think you can be again with the right motivation. How about doctor visits? Could you have a goal of losing a certain amount by every visit?
@Freetime i was a very disciplined person. if i drank, it was one drink. i never ate passed the point of being full. i loved salads and seafood. but i was always busy and now i am as busy as i feel like. my doctor visits are erratic because of covid. they will be regular soon, i hope.

@DIABLISS I do hope regular doctor visits will help when you can have them. I think they will.

Feel free to message me at any point if you want to chat for encouragement.
@Freetime thank you
