Want to lose weight but can't [I Want to Lose Weight]

I have tried so many times to lose weight but have never been successful. I know it mainly comes down to cutting out processed food. Not even necessarily portion size because if you're eating healthy whole foods you can eat a ton and have it not be that many calories. But this is what happens. I can eat super healthy, primarily plant based high fiber foods all day. By night time I am hit with powerful cravings for some kind of junk, whether it is sweets or fast food, whatever. I almost always lose to these cravings and cannot seem to overcome them.

Does anyone have any tips for how to overcome this I guess addiction to junky foods?? I think if I could learn how to prevent or overcome the cravings I could start making progress.

Drink lots of water during the day as it does stop tou feeling hungry. If you are desperate for something sweet have porridge with a little honey.

De.Phill published a good book on losing weight. I suggest that.

If I had to give you a quick response, start eating fruits. Often people feel an urge to eat because their sugar level is low, sugar withdrawal as theysay. If you eat a lot of friends, natural sugar would maintain a stable sugar level,
Ive been having some decent success with intermittent fasting. What are your key numbers now and what are you aiming for?

@stound I tried intermittent fasting. I didn't really get anywhere with it because I would be absolutely starving at the end of my fast and would binge eat crap foods because of it.

I am currently 265 lbs. 2 years ago I was 100 lbs lighter. The healthy weight for my height is 164 lbs (I am tall) so I would at the very least like to get there. 145 lbs would be amazing but I don't think it'll ever happen.

Track your food intake. I use MyFitnessPal. Drink lots of water. If you are craving something sweet, have some fruit. Eat high protein foods.
