I Am Trying to Lose Weight

So... I'm not losing the LBs like I've wanted & it's beginning to make me a little mad

I'm at the dance last night & I had to be lifted up as part of the choreography & I know the guys where trying to be nice... I even asked them to improvise the lift after the lean just out of embarrassment....

I found a scale just now & I AM NOT happy. I think my muscles are not making me feel well about the weight issue.

I work out 2 hours a day and I've been increasingly been trying new dance lessons to mix it up... I use 10 pound weights for my strength work..... I've reduced carbs and eat a ton of veggies and other "good" things and do my best to avoid fast food....

I'm short in stature and you can see any weight gain on my frame...... I'm irritated

You do know muscles are heavier than fat, right? And that it doesn't matter what number is on the scale as long as you love yourself?
@Melpomene yes, I know that. I am aware of it and I'm gonna look like a boxer by the time my weight loss hits the scene...

@IntoMeYouSee Have you tried visiting a doctor? Maybe you're stressing or something else is keeping you from your weight loss? Dunno, checked thyroid? I honestly hope you aren't anorexic or something.
@Melpomene yes, I've seen my physician, a dietician and a nutritionist for my general health and had labs drawn for everything and my thyroid is just a little elevated, but noting significant.
Getting old is hard ... everything stops working as fast as it use to :(

I'll be okay
