I love the Sound of Rain

Like tears mingling with a beating heart
The thunder that sets us apart
living from dead, the emotion that wields life in its grip
like ambrosia, a sip -of immortality
emotion yields, good or bad, a certain
vitality invariably - pushing out the corruption
from wound, an eruption of feeling fleeting
flowing like drops from the atmosphere
waiting for the sun to appear in its burning
severity shedding light on yearning, a wanton
desire that fills us a fire that fuels us
pours forth like some unending fount rumbling up from earth
