Moar Rain Please
We are in the middle of a drought. Last month the world was all green:
Now the grass is yellow, and plants are droopy and withering (sorry, no photo).
I walked by a bush yesterday and it was so sad. All its leaves were drooping and shriveling from the endless dry heat.
But last night we finally got a half hour of rain. The grass is still yellow, but this little bush bounced back and its leaves were all plump and perky today. So resilient! Such a happly plant.
After the rain, there were yellow and brown tree leaves all around. It felt like fall, but it is still hot and humid.
But moar rain, please!
The forecast tonight is for severe storms, even tornaders. Eeek!
