I grew up in New York and of course like PA plenty of rain. I don’t miss the cold or the humidity but I do miss the rain. Rain is so beautiful.

I know. I used to live in Pennsylvania but now I'm in New Mexico. I miss that sound. My next-door neighbor had a corrugated plastic garage roof and when it rained, it sounded like someone was gently dropping handfuls of seashells...a soothing sleepy sound

Growing up in an arid landscape I can relate. However, i have spent my adult life in a region defined by rain because I feel very stressed by the absence of water.

I'll happily lend you some of our rain here in UK, we get plenty of it! But it's lovely, especially listening to it bouncing off the roof when tucked up in a warm bed. Or the light, fine summer rain which we have often in Ireland.. makes you wan to strip off send just stand and smile!
