In the middle of the worst drought in decades, this was a huge event for us. I'm so grateful tonight!

I'm in the San Bernardino mountains and we've had a crazy long monsoon season. Got some yesterday but it doesn't usually get down to the lower elevations. Saw it raining during the Dodger game and it was awesome. So unusual. And so necessary. Bet that felt good. Hope the petrichor was enjoyed.

@Ynotisay I'm in the S.B county so nearly neighbors. It wasn't much but at this rate, more than I was hoping for. I am going to be on the side of optimism and visualize torrential downpours for us both.

@Grateful4you I'm with you on that one. I'm hearing that there's good chance for precip through the month. Let's just hope we get some nice dumps this winter. Don't want a repeat of the last too many years.
