Rain is so relaxing

I love to sit on the porch with my coffee, and listen to the rain. It started before daylight and is supposed to stick around for 2 days thanks to hurricane Sally. I think I’ll be ready for some sun by the time it’s gone.

@Krysclear the front porch is covered but not screened. I end up staying out here more because the dog can play in the yard. The back porch is high off the ground because of the basement. I really do love the porches.

@Krysclear we were lucky enough to find 5 acres of land in a heavily wooded area. Trees are huge here and worry me on windy days. It’s very quiet - we hear planes not almost no car traffic as the road ends just past us. Imma country girl so I love it here.

@Krysclear that’s good - lots of flooding from that storm, even here. We lost power for three hours, but that’s it.
