Rain is so relaxing

I love to sit on the porch with my coffee, and listen to the rain. It started before daylight and is supposed to stick around for 2 days thanks to hurricane Sally. I think I’ll be ready for some sun by the time it’s gone.

I love the fresh smell , the cleansing of the air, the sound as it pelts the windowpane. It's relaxing. The remnants of Sally is causing rain here. Yesterday it destroyed both my sisters homes in Pensacola

@Itsmrsockmonkey it’s wonderful to live near the ocean but it can come at a price. I hope they can rebuild quickly.

The amount of water is overwhelming, one sister had a huge tree go through the roof onto her bed@Jill1990

They were uninjured so that's good. I got rain from it yesterday in S.C.@Jill1990
