I Love the Rain

I been sitting here for the last half hour with the window slighting open listening to the rain outside and it鈥檚 so therapeutic, it鈥檚 not too heavy but heavy enough for me to feel relaxed I love listening to the light taps of the raindrops on the window it is such beautiful and relaxing sound. 馃導

@LittleTinks It helps me sleep, too. There was a wonderful thunderstorm here a couple days ago early in the morning. I didn't have to get out of bed that early. It was delicious. 馃ゴ
Nothing like it is there yet when I was younger I hated thunder storms lol @PhoenixPhail

@LittleTinks I used to enjoy standing outside and watching the lightening. Many years ago, I was watching from a metal staircase to my upstairs apartment, when lightening struck, all the way to the ground, a huge, old hack-berry tree about 50 feet away. It was the loudest thing I had ever heard or have ever heard since. I had to dodge the burning lumber flying at me. I very quickly went inside. That was WAAAAY too close. My ears rang for about 3 hours. Since then, I have never ventured outside to watch the lightening. Some lessons are unforgettable. The lightening strike killed the tree, by the way.
Omg you was so lucky!! Must of scared the scrap outta of you!! When we went to Florida they had a storm and we was queuing to get on the ferry and lighting hit the water it sounded like a gunshot well my youngest was screaming and crying he didn鈥檛 wanna get on the ferry so we had to get the train lol everyone screamed I had never heard anything like it! @PhoenixPhail

@LittleTinks I truly WAS lucky. I was fortunate the tree was that much higher than the second-story iron staircase I was standing on. If it were a smaller tree, the lightening might have picked ME. It not only scared the crap of me, it actually knocked me backward against the house. The energy wave was something I'd never experienced before. I don't think most people get the true power of a big bolt of lightening until they've had an encounter like this. There's no writing, no talking, no video which can convey the true power of it. It's ineffable.
I totally agree there is such a powerful force behind it isn鈥檛 there.. I could feel it in my whole body when it hit so totally get ya! @PhoenixPhail
