This summer has been brutal in the UK.
No rain in many places for several weeks.
Rivers and farmland experiencing droughts and hosepipe bans run across much of the south of the country.
And while we take stock of all that we know it won't be long before the weather changes to autumn then winter and people wondering if they should prepare for flooding should the rains go as they normally do, what with the ground being so hard and dry.
Farmers must be pulling their hair out wondering if it's worth planting for winter crops.
