summer is in its "7th inning stretch" for us in the northern hemisphere ......

will you be sad to see it go or happy to see fall arrive. for me i'll be a little sad. i love west coast summers and winters here can be dreary. it's relatively mild by canadian standards but rainy...september and even october can be nice but after that...🌧

This summer has been brutal in the UK.
No rain in many places for several weeks.
Rivers and farmland experiencing droughts and hosepipe bans run across much of the south of the country.

And while we take stock of all that we know it won't be long before the weather changes to autumn then winter and people wondering if they should prepare for flooding should the rains go as they normally do, what with the ground being so hard and dry.

Farmers must be pulling their hair out wondering if it's worth planting for winter crops.

I wish it would be spring and fall all the time.

But I got more snow in Maryland then you this past winter. And when we had the deep freeze at the same time you were wearing shorts. You can't even call yourself canadian buy those weather standards 🤣

@Gibbon yeah...you guys got slammed over there, along with other parts of canada to the north of you...to put into perspective i used 1/4 bag of ice melt at work last year to 10 bags 2 years prior....let's hope this winter is milder for you. i know it was 2 years ago for my friends in the toronto area
