This heat wave is sweltering hot

Today, tomorrow, and Saturday are all coming close to 100 degrees here in Massachusetts. Granted I’ll take extreme heat over freak cold snaps in the summer like 60 or 70 degrees or 75 degrees that’s too cold for summer for a high for the day. I’ll take extreme heat over extreme cold any day in the winter. I can’t complain about the heat as long as I wear light clothing during the afternoon and bring a bottle of water for my walks. Also the evenings are pleasant they are balmy and it cools off just enough for me personally just a mid weight sweater or lighter jacket. This is what a real summer is supposed to feel like. Yes I walking and dripping in sweat because it was hot and humid. I put on a light weight cardigan over my light short sleeve blouse at like five thirty when it cooled off several degrees and the sun went behind the clouds and wore light pants and light sneakers. I was still sweating a lot though until like 6 pm. I had to wash my clothes because they stunk. I left the house at 4 pm and thought holy shit it’s sweltering and brutal heat. I went for an hour and a half walk. I have high heat tolerance but even I was just perspiring like crazy. Now on days like this you need air conditioning although inside I’m wearing a fleece sweater jacket to keep warm with light long sleeve and light pants. I’ll be closing my door tonight to the ac and sleep with just a sheet on top of me. Now it feels like real summer. I have dreamed of moving to the desert southwest USA that has summers like this but I will probably never move there. This is my ideal summer 90-100 during the day 75 to 80 overnight. I got a taste of it today.
