It’s only 33 but feels like 36 Celsius, the breeze is light
We are at the police firing range, my Dad has brought us here, Mama’s certificate is due and I have to practice. Chiara doesn’t know what to make of it all and has ear defenders on all the time!
We are going to the horses this afternoon and evening, out for a cooling bath all of them. If it’s true that mankind has been affecting the climate by it’s activities with fossil fuels and chemical plant emissions than it is our obligation to look after the fauna - our fellow animals on the planet all created along side us. We have already devastated the wide species spectrum with our hunting and agriculture, and we must try to protect what is left to our children in the pool.
Chiara feels strongly about this, and she likes to read as much as possible about the subject. She is unlikely to take the example of Greta though since she knows school is too important to mess around with.
Next week Chiara will be at a ballet gala run by several of the schools in the city. She will be going to classes later.
