After a bad snow storm, how many days (or hours) does it take for you to go crazy stuck in the house?

Just wondering

We had a terrible storm in early May. It took out the power and the telephone service. Town was 5 mils away but the roads were completely impassible. We lived on a farm so we had livestock to look after. After about 4 days I skied to town. The storm was over but the power lines were down all over the place. I remember the farmers fixing their telephone lines using horses and rafts in water too deep for a tractor.
Don’t have that kind of snow here but we have the occasional terrible wind and rain storm which might last 12-24 hours. Very rarely stuck in the house for more than a day.

@MummyKaren72 where is that? Kent

@Royrogers no it is the Yorkshire Dales
😂 about the time it takes to grab the shovel and start clearing a path. It's usually just outside the front door all winter
I don’t get stuck inside. I go outside even in heavy snow.

About a day or two. The first day I would spend shoveling the driveway and cleaning off the cars. That usually leaves me tired and cold enough to spend the next day at home relaxing. But, the next day I want to go out for either breakfast or lunch.

Whether you're stuck in the house all summer because it's too hot outside, or you're stuck in the house all winter because there's too much snow outside, what difference does it make?
