ppl in places were temps dont normally dip below freezing during the day?

Does your local schools have a temperature that they say no school today if its below that. We used to have one of 20 for our local public school system the private i teach at still has that policy but the public school in our same district is sending theirs to school in the morning. wow. According to the weather prediction we wont go back til th most likely

I suppose it would depend on the heating system in the school. Going to school riding the back of my T Rex it didn't matter how cold it got. I remember trying to skate at school when it was 40 below. The skating rink was on the parking lot. It didn't work too good. Ice becomes very brittle at that temperature so it crumbles under your skate blade. Next recess we played snow soccer instead. At us farm kids got to ride the bus to school but the town kids had to walk.
