It's normal to rain/snow a lot this time of the year in Washington State, but this is going to be the longest stretch on record, thanks to a 7,000 miles atmospheric river stretching across the Pacific from the Philippines to BC/Washington.
Kind of stuck home now due to flooded roads.

@Northwest i can't believe how mild it has been...i guess our local ski hills are suffering though

@beermeplease This reminds of the year Vancouver hosted the winter olympics. One missing ingredient: snow.

@Northwest the local ski mountains had to truck in snow from the interior like manning park. i remember watching the canada/us gold medal hockey game from a bar and walked home afterwards in a t-shirt....of course that was the year sidney crosby scored the golden goal ☺

@beermeplease Whistler was my home base. Some years we were doing US Thanksgiving all way through march, and other years it was skiing on mud.

@Northwest ah whistler. my dad worked for a major catering company in the 80s (high up position) and the company he worked for ran the convention center. i worked 2 of the celebrity ski tournaments (i was like 16) in the dish pit. my older brother once lived up there briefly and managed the food kiosks at the golf course...i quite like whistler

@beermeplease 80s was before my time. A bad day in one of a half dozen spots in Utah, is better than one of the best ski days on Whistler, but you're not going to get food poisoning having world class Sushi in Whistler.
