that a truck going down the road was throwing sparks, I'm not sure what was dragging, and started two grass fires a couple days ago. This is the smaller one, the bigger one was a couple miles on down.

I have seen it that way here too. Trains have to spray around the tracks because the rails spark and start fires. I noticed a chain dangling from a trailer on the road in front of me, and you could see the sparks. It was dusk and the sparks were pretty bright.
