I hate freak cold snaps during summer.
I know it’s the end of summer but for Christ’s sake it’s not autumn yet. It’s a cold 70 degrees during the afternoon and at night it’s like upper 40s-mid 50s for these next couple of days. It’s freezing for summer. The only thing I haven’t put on yet again is handwarmers or gloves. But I have all my my fall/winter/spring attire everything else on. Underwear camisoles bra thermal shirts and leggings. Fuzzy woolly socks Ugg sheepskin boots heavy sweater pullover corduroy pants fleece sweater jacket winter coat on top vest and heavy pashmina scarf and wool beret. It’s August!!! And my family thinks I’m nuts for dressing like this. Well guess what I’m not going to freeze my butt off because it’s August. It’s 70 today not 90!!!! People still dress like it’s a summer heat wave even when it is cold outside with summer clothes. I don’t know how people including my own family are not freezing. With just shirt sleeves and shorts or pants and a t shirt and that’s it. Summer dresses and light cardigans. Am I missing something? My dad said it’s all in my head and nothing ever changes. I’m not going to be uncomfortable just because it’s summer. I was tempted to put on handwarmers to keep my hands toasty but I was lazy and did not grab them. Why must the weather be so bipolar? Several days ago it was almost 90 today it’s 70. Fuck the New England climate. I wish I didn’t need family supports and I could just move somewhere much warmer and with a consistent summer climate.i wish the fall and spring were like mid-late June and early-mid September here. The winter was like April and October. And the summer season lasted longer and was 90-100 degrees every day with a lot of sun.
And 75-80 overnight. Four seasons with proper summers and no extreme cold but 50s and 60s during the winter and 30s and 40s overnight. That is my ideal climate. Not needing to wear cold weather attire in August and chilling my buns. It feels like autumn too soon. November through March should be in the 50s and 60s and lower 70s Nov. April to May should increase with temperature from 75-85 degrees early April 50 overnight to 60 in mid May. 65-70 by late May early June. Then June. July and August is 90-100 degreees with 75 degrees overnight. September and October should decrease the temperature from 85 to 75 as the season goes from mid late September to mid to late October decreasing from 65-70 in early September to 60 in mid late September to 50 overnight in late October. That’s ideal. So for me a Mediterranean, arid to semi arid to arid low desert, or humid subtropical climate is ideal. I don’t want to see snow and ice in the winter as it makes for dangerous and unpredictable driving and walking conditions and I don’t want to shovel snow and I hate slush yuck. I would rather deal with rain in the winter though I would rather it be sunny throughout the year. My preferences are opposite of where I live. I feel like my life is all wrong. I should have been born someplace much warmer where people get easily cold too. I should have never developed mental illnesses so I could be completely functional on my own two feet and learned to use my infp or infj tendencies to my advantage in education, workplaces, domestic, and social life.
