I would although I'd be worried if I could hear it on my roof!
I don't hear it pattering directly on the window glass either thanks to the double-glazing, but can hear it on the plastic frames.
If it rains when I'm camping, although I would prefer it didn't, it is rather comforting being all dry and warm and snug in my sleeping-bag while the rain patters on a tent designed to cope with bad weather.
