4 inches of snow and the world stops

so apparently all it takes for my area to shut everything down even Walmart, Walgreens adn the post office is 4 inches of snow. well we are expecting more tonight. 3 of my husbands coworkers from the saw mill he works at are sleeping in our kids playroom downstairs, because they didnt cancel 3rd shift last night and by the time they got off this morning it was 2 late for them to make it home.

Well honestly 98% of the world stops and you got mountain men and mountain women like me and you and a few others that just keep on rolling
kinda been that way here as well.

@HootyTheNightOwl well the rest of night shift was next door at my uncle's who is also the owner of the saw mill so i guess he did pay the hotel bill. they got home today but my uncle has closed the mill until monday.
@Mountainlady16 It still doesn't make sense why he didn't give them the chance to at least get home???

I mean, even in England, we've had people stranded and sleeping in cars because they couldn't get home due to snow. It seems like people forget just how dangerous snow can be.

@HootyTheNightOwl they had an order that they needed to finish my aunt btw gave my uncle what for after fixing the guys breakfast and putting beds together for them. I could hear her yelling from where me and my oldest 2 were checking on our chickens and our houses arent exactly next door next door either.
