How's the weather? (Yes, I'm getting old.)

Fall has autumned upon us... or autumn has fallen upon us. Either way, it feels great outside.

Here soon, people will turn their heat on and immediately call me about the "burning smell" in their homes.

My heating comes on naturally if it falls below 20.5C between 7am and 9pm. It was turning on in June but it hasn’t fallen to that yet this autumn in my south facing room where the thermostat is. It’s between 13C and 22C outside where I live. The burning smell though when it hasn’t been on for 4 months I remember it well.
