How does Canada (Canadu) get colder than the north pole

I mean, scientifically, how is this possible?

There are many factors. Geography plays a crucial role in regulating air temperature and pressure. The Arctic waters surrounding the north pole receives warming ocean currents from the equator. Canada on the other hand is largely landmass.
