@iamonfire696 Diesel engines are always fun to start in the cold which is why I don't own one. Yes batteries are finicky things which is why I will never own an EV. However If you know what you are doing you can get a vehicle started in the cold. My uncle would drain the oil and antifreeze out of his car and along with the battery bring them all into his house. When he wanted to start the car he would pour in the antifreeze then the oil then put in battery and the engine would start like it was a summer day. The newer batteries are a bit more reliable but at one point I had a battery blanket that I could plug in and warm the battery. I also had a circulating block heater that caused warm antifreeze to flow through out the engine. It made starting dad's diesel tractor easy.
