Has the weather been cooler than average where you are?

It's been a little while since we have had a daily high temp over 80°F. Kind of reminds me of the summer of 2009.
CestManan · 46-50, F
Yes it has been rather Pleasant here, the ideal version of summer. Now everybody, remember a few weeks ago when we were going through a nasty Heat Wave and everybody thought it was the end of the world?
@CestManan We actually had a couple of brief heatwaves here. Summer isn't over yet so we could still have another one, lol.
Lately yes. Mid 70 days, 56/60 nights. Little humidity, breezy.
Like an early start to Fall.

Zonuss · 41-45, M
Yes. A much cooler week ahead here in the USA. Fall is near.
CestManan · 46-50, F
@Zonuss just wait till about the third week of September when we get hit with a scorching heat wave and then people will suddenly think it's the end of the world again
Zonuss · 41-45, M
@CestManan Out West maybe. But usually down in the Appalachian South we are much cooler and.mild in September.
iamonfire696 · 41-45, F
It’s been cooler here and I hate it. We had a very cold winter. Where is my hot summer.
iamonfire696 · 41-45, F
@CestManan they would mainly cancel the buses when I was in school. They don’t want the teachers and students coming into school when it’s -45 C and colder. It got to -54 C this year.

The school was surrounded by water and you couldn’t get to it. My kids were so happy 🙄
@CestManan @iamonfire696 I grew up in Chicago, and the Chicago Public Schools would only shut down under the most extreme conditions like a blizzard. I had to wait for the bus in a snowstorm at least once a year.
iamonfire696 · 41-45, F
@latinbutterfly half the students come in from buses in the country and the roads aren’t paved. They can’t have kids in them and risk getting stuck in that weather. Most of the teachers don’t live here and have to travel so if the highways are closed they can’t come but they don’t want people travelling when it’s -50 C (-58 F). We don’t shut down here for a little snow either. It’s gotta be a blizzard.
