Four distinct seasons.
Storms in late autumn as the nights draw in, snow with occasional bitter cold (below -20°C) in the middle of the winter, spells of rain mixed with days of brilliant light and gentle breezes in the spring, long warm days (not too often over 30°C) in the summer, gently cooling days as the fruit ripens on the trees in early autumn.
Roughly an idealised combination of southern Norway and southern England.
