I Am Affected By the Weather

Santa Ana's are sweeping California again. Fires sprouting up all over and it doesn't feel like October. For those of you that don't know what a Santa Ana is, they are high, hot winds that come sweeping down from the desert mountains. They are extremely dry and very low in humidity. Now many would think that's a good thing, but it's not. It's because of this perfect set of weather conditions that we are famous for all the fires hitting around this time of year.

It's miserable and I won't even go into what it does to the nose. Worse thing for me is it makes the migraines worse and here I thought that wasn't even possible any more. I forgot. So, trying not to whine about it, but more or less just sharing.

Of course, when I was younger, in shape and healthy it was perfect weather to head to the beach in the nights. Hit the waves and just relax. Only having bonfires (well, not huge fires in protected rings) if the winds weren't too bad and blowing west and always on guard to put it out if anything changed.
