I Dont Like Hot Weather
Actually, out here in high desert country, it gets hot, all right, but what they say about low humidity is true.
Today in the high 80s, it was quite tolerable with humidity of 24%. My friend in Pennsylvania said a few days ago they were in the mid-80s with 89%
humidity.
However, the water pipes in the complex run over the roof (no basement). I had to run the cold water a full three minutes for it to be only lukewarm.
That feels very wasteful in the desert. I’m going to start keeping a couple 2-liter bottles in the fridge.
