I Am Affected By the Weather

So far this month, we've had a total of 16 days over 40C with nighttime minimums in the mid 20sC. We use tank water and the tank is on the western side of the house and the water coming out of it is warm. Can't even have a cold shower and this isn't our hottest month lol.

Looking forward to winter.

First two days of summer here in Melbourne and it feels like winter still. What the fuck lol

@SW-User That's Melbourne for you lol.

@Bushranger One of the things I love about that city - we're perpetually mulling over relocating to Aus, and that would be the destination.

@QuixoticSoul I can see some of the benefits, mainly the food. But can't stand the idea of living in a city again. Mind you, never really liked it when I was living in one. Move to the country, much better lifestyle, provided you can put up without really good tucker lol.

@Bushranger The food in Melbourne is totally great, it's like a mini-NYC, similar density of deliciousness.

When it comes down to it, I like living in the country, but I love making city money 🤷‍♂️

@QuixoticSoul I can dig that. I used to live in Sydney, but was lucky enough to score a couple of good jobs down here and even got to retire early. But, damn, I still miss the food lol.

@QuixoticSoul Mind you, though, for food, I prefer SA. Even in really out of the way places the food is great. Even a place like Andamooka has good food. Just wish that Wagga could get its act together.
