@SunshineGirl The same way my Mother stopped being a refugee in 1945 after the Nazis chased her and her family out of Europe running for their lives.. they picked themselves up and found work and lives elsewhere.. You see you do not get to be a refugee forever... certainly not in the four generations since the re-establishment of the state of Israel... The Jews who were expelled from all Arab lands after 1948 were absorbed by the state of Israel and never claimed to be refugees despite harsher treatment than the Arabs who left Israel were given...
