It's the sad nature of war. Some countries try to put a morale veneer over it, but in the end there is no such thing as a 100% accurate 'surgical strike'.

On a good day, perhaps. Usually, we bomb and invade some other country.

The 9/11 attackers were from Saudi Arabia (15), UAE (4), Egypt (one), and Lebanon (one).

We invaded Iraq and created the migration crisis, which is now contributing to the rapidly moving erasure of Democracy and rise of authoritarianism in the USA.

Pretty nifty trick.

Yes.
Terrorism doesn't happen in a vacuum.
And when you kill the civilians, it makes people feel the terrorists are the only ones protecting them.
