I’m on my way to the range having walked my daughter to ballet

I’m not sure how much I need to do for my keeping my certification to carry a gun, Papa said it’s just a formality, but I have noticed that they expect more each time I go.

Practice makes perfect. If I did have to fire I need to ensure I do everything I can to avoid the risk of an innocent bystander being caught in my sights. Punishing a family by my negligence worries me intensely.

After the shoot I will have a coffee with Papa and then head off to the equestrian centre to tend to my horses. 🐎 They will get some extra oats from me for the Winter is drawing in and it’s cold out.

There are 2 obvious problems with civilian carry. One, if you get into a defensive position can you safely duscharge your weapon at the assailant and not hit an innocent by stander? Second, if a law enforcement arrives and sees your weapon, how do they avoid shooting you? In the US, statistics show that if you have a weapon you are more likely to be shot than if you do not. There are many uncorrected variables in those studies.
