What if there was a Build-A-Round in your local shopping area?

A friend of my dad's reloaded 308 rounds but they'd stick in the chamber. Max Chatfield though, was a crack marksman abd made hus own bullets and loaded his own rounds for better quality control but never sold a round to anyone else. Poor guy was deaf as a post.

What was stuck? The brass after firing the round? You can monitor and adjust your own performance across several variables by loading your own rounds. Seems like there would be a deeper connection with the process that way.

@GerOttman burrs or swelling around the bullet interface. There must be another step to blank or roll the brass to shape.

@Tastyfrzz Yeah, the brass needs to be massaged into shape I would think. Not sure if shelf brass might be thinner to save cost. I know you can buy your own components direct.
