I Was Taught How To Use A Gun

My papa showed me how to handle his rifle and hand pistol when I was 13.
I never found or felt guns to be necessary. My papa only used them for catching game.

I now feel like getting my own would be the safest option. My neighborhood has started filling up with homeless people. Lots of bad looking seeds are also roaming the streets now.

I am honestly terrified and paranoid because of these new people hanging around and constantly walking around the outside of my home. I am very scared of these people potentially entering my home and I don't know what else to do.

there are other things you can get for cheap as well. an alarm system is good. makes 90% of the people run away. if they come in after the alarm goes off then they are the 10% that have no fear and need to be gunned down. You can also get these things that go on doors to secure them in place making it impossible t kick the door down. I forget what they are called. They aren't over 50 though

sometimes paranoia is a good thing

Moving to a better area might be wiser. But concealed carry laws exist for good reasons. Be sure and practice regularly and store the weapon safely though if you go that route

It's all about responsibility. I'm a proud gun owner but also hate that guns are used irresponsibly. People just have to be smart about it. Glad to be able to have the means to protect my family

Except in the mass shootings, statistics show that more people die from their own guns then from others.
