I like knives

This is my current equipment that I carry daily

From left to right, Leatherman Wave+ that I keep on my belt on the left side, Benchmade Griptillian that I keep on my left pocket, Pro-Tech Godson on my right pocket, Camillus Cuda Dominator S30V Robo Power that I keep also on my right pocket, and Leatherman Wingman that I keep on my belt on the right side

For protection?

@Ashly mostly for utility and survivability if I wind up in any strange situations

I started practicing martial arts when I was 8, I've never had to stab anyone with a knife, though 3 of them would be very good for that if needed and the other 2 are still somewhat viable

@th3r0n oh wow

Yea you never know what life brings at you so it’s always best to stay prepared just in case

I used to carry a knife with me when I ran through the city but since I use the treadmill at the gym now I don’t usually carry it

@Ashly I think it's wise for a woman to have a knife or gun always for protection

I think a man should always have a knife, because of the things a man is expected to be able to do

The number of things that could be crafted with two multitools that have pliers and scissors and saws on them could really improve survivability in the woods, help fix a minor car problem I or someone else has, so many other things

I also open a ton of packages and do technical work, one time I even forgot my tools when I was installing a video doorbell, but I used a hammer multitool and my leatherman wave+ and got it done, and still got a 5 star rating

@th3r0n I carry pepper spray at all times
I should carry a blade with me just incase

One of my roommates has a few guns at the house just incase
They’re legal in case you were wondering
Luckily she’s never had to use them to protect the house

And you’re right, a handy man is always an underrated person

@Ashly the best use for guns, like any weapon, is to prevent the need of their functional use

I strongly approve of gun ownership and think it should not be required to register them at all, though ideally they wouldn't have to be used; criminals are cowards and go after unarmed prey, the more armed citizens there are the less criminal activity there is to be had

I think that, with the reasonable expectations on men, it would be ideal for all men to carry at least one knife and one multitool, but not all think the same
