I like knives

This is my current equipment that I carry daily

From left to right, Leatherman Wave+ that I keep on my belt on the left side, Benchmade Griptillian that I keep on my left pocket, Pro-Tech Godson on my right pocket, Camillus Cuda Dominator S30V Robo Power that I keep also on my right pocket, and Leatherman Wingman that I keep on my belt on the right side

@TheRascallyOne I like that one

I used to EDC two fixed blades but they're heavy and my dad kept insisting it would bother people, so I stopped carrying them daily

I carry this k bar anytime I'm in the woods
th3r0n · 41-45, M
@kodiac I like that, reminds me of my Ontario Knife Company 3s Combat

If you hold the sheath upside down and shake with it not buttoned does it stay in? It looks like it would, same as the 3s Combat
kodiac · 22-25, M
@th3r0n It does ,they were standard issue for us marines.
th3r0n · 41-45, M
@kodiac I forget what the 3s Combat was standard issue for, I know they used it for a bunch of years before it was retired

Military equipment is reliable and useful

"military grade" - the cheapest thing that will consistently do the job reliably and last well

Wow, that's a lot to be carrying all at one time. You don't find your pants heavy walking around like that?

I, obviously, know how to use a knife but I don't carry one. I am issued a 9mm Sig for work.
sarabee1995 · 26-30, F
@th3r0n Glad to hear that. I recently felt what it's like to be stabbed. 🙄
th3r0n · 41-45, M
@sarabee1995 I pray you heal quickly and never have to feel that again
sarabee1995 · 26-30, F
@th3r0n All healed. It was back in March. Not to worry he didn't get up. 😒

I carry a Godson in my purse…next to my Glock.
th3r0n · 41-45, M
@TexChik that's amazing
Goodluckwiththat · 56-60, M
That ProTech is sick! Love it
th3r0n · 41-45, M
@Goodluckwiththat I like it too, it opens so fast it's crazy, and both the side to side and lockup stability are better than most regular folding knives
th3r0n · 41-45, M
@wildbill83 I have a bayonet that fits that description haha
Ashly · 26-30, F
For protection?
th3r0n · 41-45, M
@Ashly I think it's wise for a woman to have a knife or gun always for protection

I think a man should always have a knife, because of the things a man is expected to be able to do

The number of things that could be crafted with two multitools that have pliers and scissors and saws on them could really improve survivability in the woods, help fix a minor car problem I or someone else has, so many other things

I also open a ton of packages and do technical work, one time I even forgot my tools when I was installing a video doorbell, but I used a hammer multitool and my leatherman wave+ and got it done, and still got a 5 star rating
Ashly · 26-30, F
@th3r0n I carry pepper spray at all times
I should carry a blade with me just incase

One of my roommates has a few guns at the house just incase
They’re legal in case you were wondering
Luckily she’s never had to use them to protect the house

And you’re right, a handy man is always an underrated person
th3r0n · 41-45, M
@Ashly the best use for guns, like any weapon, is to prevent the need of their functional use

I strongly approve of gun ownership and think it should not be required to register them at all, though ideally they wouldn't have to be used; criminals are cowards and go after unarmed prey, the more armed citizens there are the less criminal activity there is to be had

I think that, with the reasonable expectations on men, it would be ideal for all men to carry at least one knife and one multitool, but not all think the same
