I've been trying to figure out how to express this for like 20 minutes now.
I like designing little tabletop games, and coming up with fun little concepts to go with them. I've always done this, although I probably wasn't all that great at it (do you expect an 8 year old to be able to design a functioning TCG?). The latest one was a platoon-level war game set during an alternate World War 1 where America isn't dragged into the war for some reason and it's still going in 1921. The Western Front is as awful as ever, the Italian Front is barely holding itself together, and now the Eastern Front has restarted as the new Red Army tried to retake the lands lost to the Central Powers in 1918.
Really I just wanted a thing I could play the ANZACs and Ottomans in, and Austria-Hungary and Imperial Russia. But there's nobody to try it out with and honestly, who cares.
