The Rohingya people have suffered the worst throughout all of this and even prior to this but if Bangladesh is anything to go by, it's not entirely impossible for Myanmar to regain diplomacy. I hope your neighbours nephew is okay.

@NativePortlander1970 That's OK but the same dictators who ignore the Geneva Convention also refuse to recognise the ICC. Arresting the leaders of such countries is fraught with difficulties e.g. Netanyahu and the Hamas leaders as other autocrats protect them lest their own empires crumble.
