Can’t express how happy I’m with the ceasefire in Lebanon.

My house is half demolished , it’ll take time to restore it back.
However i still got a place.
Idk how my house is still standing, my whole neighbourhood was bombed. There’s no word for those who came to check their houses but found nothing 💔

I've been wondering how you've faired through this. I'm glad to see you're alive. I'm so sorry about your home and country.

Perhaps Hezballah will remain behind the Litani river, disarm and stop bullying the rest of Lebanon's population and firing missiles on Israel. This did NOT need to happen.

@Northwest Yeah, well, Israel didn't need to engage in a program of ethnic cleansing in Gaza, either, but here we are.

Yeah, well, Israel didn't need to engage in a program of ethnic cleansing in Gaza, either, but here we are.

There's an ICC arrest warrant for Netanyahu and Gallant.

Hezballah has been party, with Iran, to a genocide in Syria, for the last 12+ years, killing hundreds of thousands of Syrians.

Hezballah, acting as an instrument in the hands of Syria and Iran, has has a stranglehold on Lebanon. They controlled all ports of entry. Stole, imposed fees, prevented the election of a President, stored explosive materials inside Lebanon's port and sold it. The latter exploded, destroying 1/3rd of Beirut and the port's facilities.

They refused to hand over the people responsible and flaunted it.

Hezballah's operatives were found responsible for the assassination of former PM Hariri, along with nearly 60 people who died in the explosion. Hezbollah said to the courts: you want to server arrest warrants, good luck with that.

Hezballah, along with Iran and Syria, prevented Lebanon from reaching a permanent peace with Lebanon.

Hezballah decided, on its own, to start firing missiles on Israel on October 8th, 2023. Israel's response was predictable. They did not consult the other Lebanese groups, who want zero to do with this.

Now Lebanon's infrastructure, for the second time, since Hezballah's last adventure in 2006.

Who's going to rebuild? Hizballah? Who's going to rebuild the economy.

The fucking Hezballah criminals are "celebrating". They have their community all convinced the "truce" is a permanent cease fire, and the IDF never penetrated Lebanon. The Israeli tanks inside Shiite village say differently.

Video clips circulating of a shiite Hezballah supporters, offering to booby trap his 7-months old son, and use him to kill Israelis.

Lebanon does not need this cancer. The world does not need this cancer.

The 60-day truce will only become permanent, if Hizballah dismantles its entire war machine, including missile production facilities and tunnels. The way they're acting today, it doesn't look like they understand what this means.

Fuck them and the filth that inflicted them on Lebanon. Lebanon does not deserve this.

To our friend here: your house is damaged, because Hizballah places missiles in your civilian neighborhood. Your beef is with Hizballah, but my guess if that you're waving Hezballah "victory" flags.

Not only a ceasefire, but one that's supposed to be permanent.

We'll see if it works. Step in the right direction, though.
