Yes. I'd flown into NYC the night before. I'd just arrived at the company office we were to be based in that week and starting to set up for a long 3 day meeting I was involved in running.
Our host came in in tears and explained there had been a terrible accident. We went to the other side of the building where we could see the trade towers.
We're all discussing how on earth an accident could happen as the second plane came in and hit. There was shouting, crying etc.
I remember turning to a colleague looking at me in shock and I said "It's an attack l. Not an accident".
