I was asleep cause I had to work a 2pm to 11pm shift at Walmart. Mom woke me up after the first plane had already hit, I turned my TV on and watched a second airplane slam into the other building.

What I'd just seen on TV didn't feel real and then I remember going into work but I don't remember anything else for that day.

I do remember that for years after it happened, it was taboo to talk about it.
