Things that don't work when the power grid goes down

Computers.
Cash Registers.
Fuel pumps.
Credit / Debit cards
Electronic Currency.
Refrigerators.
Battery Chargers.
Well pumps.
Furnace blower fans.
Lights
Water Heaters.
Everything that we thought would never happen is happening. It's time to think about things like this. I encourage you all to add to the list of these things that do not work when the power grid goes down in the comments. May God bless and I love you all.

When the wifi glitches you should not use online currency.
I bought some items for power outings
@Kitsunex now you are using your head. I am trying to promote everybody to start using their head and think about stuff like you do. Some of the smaller businesses may actually switch back over to ink pen written receipts and may accept cash. But what would someone do if their cash is tied up in the bank account and the bank's computers do not operate and they cannot keep control of whose money is who's?
@IndianaJoes they would have a generator, maybe not if private buisness. I'm thinking of a gas powered 400$ one
@Kitsunex that is a good thought also however you must keep in mind that even propane has to be pressurized by a pump somewhere down the line. A possible solution is to store up a lot of propane tanks and hope they will get you through until the power grid gets back up. A similar thought would be with cell phone batteries and battery packs. It would be costly but if a person could afford to store up a lot of them and get them charged up and use the energy from them sparingly. And also even if cell towers have backup generators they still need computers to operate. All it takes is one break in the system somewhere along the line.
