So we just discovered

That you can race people online with Mario kart world.

The boys got excited thinking they could race Star while she was in the hospital but relieved that she had a Nintendo switch 1 and they have the new systems. So they wouldn't be able to race her.

So once she's back in bed my buddy is going to brave the cold and go get her a Nintendo switch 2 and the new Mario kart game so they can race her! They are so happy. This could be a crazy night lol

My poor buddy. I hope he doesn't freeze while getting her one.

@Musicman it's 5 degrees f here right now. With snow possibly tonight and into Saturday.

he spoils everyone he didn't want the boys to be disappointed either. They got so excited than so sad with in a few minutes.
They are really excited about this

Now they can race her anytime this weekend.

@Musicman it actually made me sad, he had the money saved for the trip him and Star were supposed to be on right now but he had to cancel everything. He said this seemed like a great way to spend it so everyone can play together all weekend even with the bad weather. I couldn't tell him no

@Musicman yes they are hooked up to WiFi and everyone friended each other and after that I'm not sure how it works but as soon as mine updates we'll all be able to race each other together

@Musicman yes this has been a very fun night so far, except my game won't load. But in enjoying watching them play. Might have brought a few tears to my eyes. The snow could start around midnight. 2-8 inches so we'll see. But the temperature is -1 right now
