Paper Mario Origami King

I haven't played a Paper Mario game since the first two, but I've been itching to replay them for years. So, I settled on the next best thing and got the latest one in the series. It's definitely not as amazing an experience as the first two were, but you know what? I like this one too. It's funny, charming, and does interesting things with the papercraft aesthetic. Having fights be logic puzzles is an unusual choice, but I think it works. It's challenging, but gives you opportunities to make it easier, and I definitely appreciate their willingness to experiment and try a new gameplay mechanic.

I'm only half-way through it at this point, but I'd say it's a solid game that has adequately scratched that itch for a light-hearted adventure. I'm still waiting for the first two to be re-released on Switch though. That would be nice. You hear me, Nintendo?
