@HootyTheNightOwl im going to move them to a random empty lot then cheat their money to 0. its my first time running away with a baby. the first time my teen sim painted and my child sim played violin to make money. but my teen sim has no skills and the baby is a baby so im nervous lol
@Frostcloud Try fishing, you might be able to catch a violin or a seed shaped gemstone (if you have crystal creations). Plant them and tend to them for some easier money.
I haven't yet tried fishing with the gemstones that you harvest from that tree... I was about to when my desktop crapped out on me.
Since you have your baby with you, a sales table or food stall (chefs hustle) might be a good way to make money??? Grill food on any barbecue in the world and throw a street sale to get customers coming to you.
@Frostcloud You can also equip your stall with a pizza oven, waffle maker and an ice cream machine, too - I've tried those three items myself, though you might want to remove them if you leave your stall out overnight because random sims will cook on them.
I love using the food stall because you can convince people to buy with high enough charisma and you get that from sales pitches or mirrors in the gym etc.
It's good for homeless sims to have a food stall. When the sister ages up to child, if you pop up a sales table and have her tend that while you hold a food sale, you might also make sales from her table at the same time, too. I recently learned that... so you can get rid of random items that you caught while fishing and whatever produce you found or grew on your lot.
