If i were to invest in a gaming system what would folk recommend ?

Waaay back in the day i had a Sega Megadrive that was pretty decent but my children hogged it and eventually wore it out.

I've bought them other consoles since (Nintendo/Sega Saturn....something else that had a unit you had to connect to it via the cartridge slot 🤷🏼/X-Box/Playstations (numerous versions) but never got anything for myself 🙃

I had a thing at one time for the 'Strike' games (Desert Strike/Jungle Strike/Urban Strike etc) and also the 3D Puzzle stuff Kulaworld etc. and wonder at how all that might have been updated and enhanced since my playing days.

So if i were looking at buying an up to date system, what would folk recommend ?

I would recommend a laptop or PC. If youre referring only to consoles then i would need to know if you are wanting to play older or newer games.

@astrosandorbits I have a Laptop. It's fine it does everything i need it to do. I don't choke it up with music downloads or movie stuff; i'm not streaming anything....See if we were in the age of PS2/3/ Xbox 1st/2nd generation, i'd probably just adapt my laptop.....but then again, if i got an up to date console i could probably do all the gaming stuff and the music stuff....
