Call of Duty: Cold War - Siding with the Americans just so they could shoot you at the end?

Nah, I prefer the ending where I get to live, side with the Soviets and kill off annoying “good guys” and toast the mushroom clouds!

I know literally nothing of the plot of any of the COD games, but it somehow pleases me to know that the Americans are portrayed as treacherous.
