I found "My" video games
it's 1990, I'm 9 years old and have No idea 3 game just came out on the NES/FamiCom that are going to create a core memory 35 years later
3 were developed for the same system(s)
2D weapons based side-scrollers
with Nearly the same grapgics/animation
developed by 3 different studios
Kage/Shadow of the Ninja (easy/hard)
martial arts, factory setting in the near future.
Ninja Crusaders
martial arts, big city setting modern-day
CrossFire
is the biggest departure with a whole Vietnam-era, GI Joe/Rambo thing going on.
I sat down played and beat 3 of 4 the first time I ever turned the games on.
I think Hudson's Adventure Island series is going to be my next project.
