the Real power of cheat codes
a week or two after getting my emulator I had gathered a short list of games that I enjoyed enough to want to complete them but are just too hard for my skill level, so I started looking into Cheat Codes, keeping in mind the last one I knew of was for Mario on the NES, input with the controller.
I start Googling things and after about an hour my brain just says "naw dawg, this is like Actually coding ROMs"
so today, after getting my butt handed to me enough times in enough games, I decide to see what the Cheats section of RetroArch is all about.
Holy Crap, not only can I put the hardest game on such an easy mode it becomes a walking sim, but RA puts adding and implementing cheats on easy mode. (the program can literally find codes for you.)
and after experiencing just 2 games with just 1 infinite lives/health/HP hack, games can be transformed from a grind fest into an enjoyable experience.
