Prepping to play Elden Ring

Anyone ever play? I played a little bit and got my ass handed to me. I decided to train so to speak. Play Bloodborne first. Bloodborne is what I call "Baby's First Dark Souls". I feel like its the easiest of the "series" even though all the Dark Soul related games are not all made by From Soft. Then Demon Souls, then Dark Souls 1-3. I feel like if I play Elden Ring first I won't appreciate the others. I played Bloodborne the past couple of days, got my ass kicked at first but the muscle memory is kicking in now. First two bosses down, easy peasy. Though I'm not looking forward to those humming, eldritch monsters coming up. The one thing in that game that creeped me out.

I feel Elden Ring is easier to play compared to other Souls games. But seriously what a game man!
Once in a generation stuff.I don't know if even FromSoftware can replicate the impact it created with their future games.

@tamguy thats what people say. But i wanna be skilled at it so i can enjoy it better. I have a tendency to stick with only a few weapons and/or strategies because of how hard they are

@JestAJester I too do the same(and also I never increased my level more than 120 till now, yet for some reason I feel the game is little bit easier than other Souls game).

@tamguy I am no pro at elden ring at all. I was stuck on Radahn and Maliketh the Black Blade so long I just kept leveling up. By the time I finally beat the game my character could use weapons and magic. I took this character into the dlc

@smileylovesgaming That's understandable for the first run of any souls game. Also it's great that you could use two different mechanics of the game.

@tamguy I actually played all most the complete game with a great sword. Then I got stuck on Maliketh and I couldn't beat the guy. That is when I started to level up a lot and started to play some of the hidden bosses with magic. I finally went back to the guy and beat him. Then I was stuck on the final boss and kept leveling up. Like health and resistance. I was so excited and I finally got them
